What anti-virus/anti-malware programs work with SafeConnect?
SCU provides Sophos Endpoint network threat protection software for free to faculty and staff.
For registered SCU students and anyone using their personal laptop computer, you will need to go to Sophos Home. NOTE: SCU students need to create an account with Sophos using their SCU Gmail account (i.e. JaneUser@scu.edu )
Latest approved AV software list is found here.
Please remember that you should only use fully licensed AV software. Trial and free versions may not have the advanced features like continuous scanning that is approved by University IT so your access to SCU-Student may be denied. If you are unsure about your software, then stop by the IT Service Desk in the undergraduate library or call their number at 408-554-5700.
