Issue: A student was facing an issue while starting up ExamSoft on her mac. The error that came up was "Unable to load the exam in progress." This happened after her midterm exam crashed abruptly. Reinstalling ExamSoft did not help and thr same error message flashed on ExamSoft startup.

To get through this issue, contacted the ExamSoft Support for help. As per their instructions, deleted the 'SoftTest.datn' file in the installation directory. This file basically contains the user information which had to be deleted to clear off previous exam session.

Once the file was deleted, the ExamSoft application started successfully.

Note: 'SoftTest.datn' file on mac is equivalent to the 'stdb.s3db file on Windows.
