What anti-virus/anti-malware programs work with SCU Network Access Control system?
SCU provides Sophos Endpoint network threat protection software for free to faculty and staff only.
For registered SCU students and anyone using their personal laptop computer, you will need to go to Sophos Home. NOTE: SCU students need to create an account with Sophos using their SCU Gmail account (i.e. SCUStudentUser@scu.edu )
Latest approved AV software list is found here.
We recommend that you use fully licensed AV software. If you decided to use Trial and free versions, please be aware that these AV applications may not have the advanced features like continuous scanning. If you are unsure about your software, then stop by the IT Service Desk in the main undergraduate library or call the IT helpdesk number at 408-554-5700.
