|Safe Connect is the Network Access Control client. Safe Connect consists of two components, the Policy Key (installed on your computer), and the SafeConnect Portal (authentication). All register students need to install the Policy Key in order to access the student wireless network (SCU-Student).|
Santa Clara University IT can change this policy at at time and/or switching vendors.
|Make sure you have an approved SCU anti-virus software installed on your computer prior to installing the Policy Key. If you have an approved SCU anti-virus software installed on your computer, then check out the video below to see how to install the policy key.|
|Once the Policy Key has been installed, it will prompt you a final time to enter your SCU Network Username and password. You Network Username is basically your SCU email address minus the "@scu.edu", e.g. RBGinsburg@scu.edu , RBGinsburg is the SCU Network username.|
