While we are excited that you are now part of the Law School community, we want you to know that we value your safety. We are living in uncertain times, and we hope you will adhere to policies that Law Technology has outlined below for walk-ins and drop-ins during orientation and through out the academic year.



Walk-ins and drop-ins will be conducted at the Law Tech Helpdesk/Info desk located in the Mabie Grand Atrium. 

We will enforce strict social distancing and equipment handling protocols. Instructions on how contact and/or interact with Law Tech staff will be posted at the Law Tech/Info Desk. You must wear the proper PPE, a face mask, for in-person service starting summer 2021. Please do not stop by Law Technology office (CH 111) as it is closed to customer traffic until further notice.

NOTE: Be informed about Santa Clara University's plan during this global pandemic.
Be informed and know the current number of confirmed cases on your campus.

All orientation materials will be conducted online and a notification will be sent to you mid to late July before Law School orientation week. First year law students can set up most of what you need technology-wise for Law School by following online instructions below:

First year law students that still having issues and are planning to visit Charney Hall during Law School Orientation week, then we encourage you to follow these instructions:

1. Contact Law Technology Help Desk (408-554-5762) or create at ticket at Law Help Desk website, lawhelpdesk.scu.edu , and make an appointment in advance for a drop-in session (Law Tech/Info Desk in Mabie Grand Atrium) or a remote support session. A Law Help Desk staff member will contact you to determine the appropriate course of action and/or verify your appointment.

2. On the day your appointment, go to the Law Tech/Info desk. If no one is at the desk, then simply follow the instructions posted at the desk to get assistance. Please make sure to follow social distancing rules and wear the proper PPE, i.e a face mask.
